“Nigel Davis, also known as Huggntreez, is a self-taught mixed-media artist from Atlanta, GA, specializing in abstract expressionism. His work explores themes of identity, self-empowerment, spirituality, social justice, and the beauty found within resilience. Davis began his practice using a palette knife to create bold, textured compositions on canvas and found materials, emphasizing depth and raw emotion.
